In the fast-paced world of esports, PUBG Mobile continues to carve its path as one of the most thrilling competitive gaming experiences. As we step into the year 2024, the landscape of PUBG Mobile tournaments unfolds with anticipation and excitement. Among the array of competitions lined up, one standout addition takes the spotlight – the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO).
Agung Chaniago, the Country Manager of Level Infinite Indonesia, unveils a series of tournaments set to captivate gamers throughout 2024. From February to December, a plethora of competitions is slated to take place, ranging from local showdowns to global spectacles, transcending the boundaries of the PUBG Mobile Super League Southeast Asia (PMSL SEA).
"In our global timeline, the latest addition is PMGO. PMGO is an event geared towards grassroots, providing an opportunity for aspiring talents to ascend to the international and global tournament levels," Agung elaborates during the presentation of the PUBG Mobile Esports Roadmap 2024 at GIOI Menteng, on Monday, February 19, 2024.
Agung reveals that PMGO is scheduled to take place from April 5th to 7th, 2024. Furthermore, he elucidates that participation is open to PUBG Mobile teams worldwide.
"Hence, amateur teams or semi-professional teams can register to join PMGO," Agung clarifies.
However, Agung emphasizes that before gracing the PMGO stage, each team must successfully navigate through the PMSL SEA qualifiers. Unfortunately, slots are limited, as only the champions will secure their passage.
"We will also have teams from Southeast Asia (PMSL SEA) participating. The top team will advance to PMGO. Therefore, we hope that Indonesian teams can seize that slot, as there is only one slot available," Agung reveals.

From the aforementioned timeline, PUBG Mobile once again asserts its presence as a premier mobile esports title featured in the Esports World Cup, set in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
"At the moment, our PMWI may transition to the Esports World Cup. We have participated twice in PMWI at Gamers8, which has now transformed into the Esports World," Agung concludes.
